Class Formats

 

We welcome all levels to any of our classes.

 

Gentle:  This class is great if you are new to yoga, or it's been a while since you've done yoga.  Slow, gentle stretching, breathwork, and relaxation included.

 

Beginner:  This class is for the new or experienced student.  A combination of poses, including sitting, standing, twisting, and inverting will be demonstrated and performed.

 

Mixed Level:  This class is for the experienced student, but you can always take it at your own pace.

 

Yoga/Meditation (Sundays @ 2PM).  This class includes 45 minutes of basic yoga and stretching designed to calm the body, and then is followed by 10-15 minutes of mind quieting meditation.  Meditation has been proven to increase brain power, and it is an essential tool to help quiet our busy minds.

 

Yoga/Pilates (Mondays @ 6:30PM).  This class will be mostly beginner yoga which can be kicked up a notch, and also includes a few different types of pilates exercises designed to strengthen legs, butt, and core. 

 

Notes:

  • Each class is 75 minutes (unless otherwise noted)
  • Wearing comfortable and stretchable clothing is recommended
  • Yoga mats provided or bring yours
